About this event
Join our online Healthwatch Conference and Annual General Meeting
This year we're shining a light on health inequalities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and looking at how people can be better involved in developing services that work well for everyone.
Our On Equal Terms conference begins at 1.30pm and our keynote speaker is Imelda Redmond, National Director of Healthwatch England.
The afternoon sessions - running from 2.10pm to 5.40pm (including breaks) is made up of four workshops looking at
- Online appointments – how they work and how patient feedback has helped improve them for patients and clinicians (such as doctors and therapists)
- Co-production – a way of involving people in developing the health and care services they use, so services work better for people
- Digital exclusion – this is about lack of access to information and services for people without internet access. We talk about what it means and how we’re helping to tackle it locally
- Staying independent – how technology enabled care is helping people to stay independent in their own homes for longer
Do get involved in any of these and have your say on these local issues - and how to tackle them.
This event will be British Sign Language Interpreted.
Please let us know if you need any extra help to join our meetings, such as information in an accessible format.
