We are deeply saddened at the death of Her Majesty The Queen
Flags are flying half-mast across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough today as we mourn the sad news of the death of our monarch.
Healthwatch England Chair, Sir Robert Francis QC, and National Director, Louise Ansari, said:
“We are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who served our nation with so much dignity and dedication during her long years of public service.
“Her contribution will long be remembered, not least by the NHS patients and workers to whom she provided so much support during her reign.
“On behalf of everyone at Healthwatch, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the Royal Family. Our thoughts and sympathy are with you.”
Our own team at Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, led by Chair Stewart Francis and CEO Sandie Smith, are in complete agreement with these reflections on this sad occasion.
