Local Healthwatch seeks new visionary leader
This is an ideal role for an exceptional leader who can successfully navigate the complex and changing health and care system and ensure that NHS leaders and other decision makers listen to what local communities have to say about improving local services.
Stewart Francis, Chair of Healthwatch, emphasised the critical importance of finding a leader who can uphold the organisation's commitment to inclusivity and patient-centred decision-making:
“The successful candidate will be a difference-maker; someone who can bring patients into the centre of the decision-making process about their care.
“The work of Healthwatch continues to be vital, so we need a highly talented person to lead our ongoing efforts to amplify the voices of local people, especially those less heard, in shaping health and care services.”
The new appointee will lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to champion the needs and views of the local population, with the overarching goal of influencing positive changes in health and care services, both at the local and national levels.
